S7 wins prestigious honour from National Geographic Traveler Awards 2015.

The carrier won the 'Best Russian Airline' award in voting by frequent fliers. The prize comes as S7 - officially called Siberia Airlines - also won plaudits as the most on-time carrier in the world seven times during year 2015 after a strong showing in rankings published by FlightStats agency.
In addition S7, which is headquartered in Novosibirsk, was the most punctual airline at its main hub, Domodedovo Airport in Moscow. The recognition for S7 come after a year of turmoil for the Russian aviation industry, seeing the demise of Transaero airline.

'It is especially gratifying that the winner is determined by the frequent fliers and well-traveled passengers who are readers of National Geographic Traveler Magazine,' he said.
'This award yet again confirms that our work resonates with passengers - and is greatly appreciated.' He said that S7 was striving to offer 'convenient flights and the most up to date and popular services' to passengers.
