As if he owned the place (and he probably does), the tiger lies down on the track in the Khasan district of Primorsky region, ignoring the driver's attempts to get him to move on.
This endangered Siberian or Amur tiger is one of only 540 or so left in the wild. As the vehicle edges closer to the creature, he gets to his feet but still blocks the road.
Using loud music to deter the big cat, he preferred to resume his position on the ground, at one point appearing to wag his tail in appreciation of the sound from the music system.
On the dashcam video the driver turns up the sound of Henry Fong & SCNDL's Ass Up hoping to budge the tiger, but the animal keeps his ass down.
In the video we can hear the male voice trying to persuade the tiger leave the road.
'I've never seen the tiger. Now I will see enough. Too much...' Pictures: Dmitrij P
'Come on, jump somewhere! (tiger stays on the road and sniffs the air, then lies down)
'Hey, what are you doing? Don't! Come on, jump! (tiger continues to lie)
'Come on, one jump and go away from here. Go away! Why are wagging with your tail?' The car comes closer.
'I've never seen the tiger. Now I will see enough. Too much...' (Tiger stands)
'Come on, come on, God bless you.'
(Tiger hesitates, walks along the road a bit)
'Come one, one little jump! Come on, jump! Pretty boy... Go away... Come on, to the music!'
(The driver makes the music louder, trying to scare the tiger and the tiger lies on the road again and seems to be listening to the music)
The video ends.
