Svetlana often brings us amazing pictures of nature in the Altai Mountains, and these latest images show the reality of life in November in her small village.
In a month when temperatures in the region have touched minus 50C, and also exceptional snowfalls, she asks readers of her popular Facebook: 'Do you still want to move to Siberia?'

She shows how she freeze dries her clothes, a natural winter conditioner. After they are hard bitten with frost, she takes them inside and they rapidly dry, smelling snow fresh.
Then there is her outside lavatory with the the toilet roll covered in a glaze of wake-you-up ice.
'Did I have to spend that amount of time learning new skills? All I had to do was to just go to the loo and with a phone to take a picture of a toilet roll.'

The image of her loo roll became so popular with Russian netizens that Svetlana later added: 'Why did I bother, waking up 4 am and going up the mountains?
