In June it was caught on camera marching nonchalantly through a security checkpoint as a plane to Moscow was checking in.

The predator was regularly chased back to the forest near Yelizovo airport in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the main airport on Kamchatka peninsula, but the wild animal kept returning.

Recently the bear was seen on CCTV camera breaking through a metal fence at Yelizovo airport in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a key regional hub on the Pacific coast.

'The bear managed to get into the airport territory a few times,' said a spokesman for the regional wildlife agency.

The airport was like a magnet to the bear.

'Experts traced the beast and tried to scare him back into the forest, but he kept returning.

'The bear behaved aggressively and it was decided to shot him dead'.

There are some 24,000 bears on the Kamchatka peninsula.

Two humans have been killed in bear attacks this year.

This is a failure on the part of the humans as the animal could easily have been captured and moved to another part of Kamchatka peninsular

El pobre animal está en busca de alimento ya que el hombre se adueñó de su hábitat. Malditos humanos que solo saben destruir

I’m wondering if the bear was shot by police! As it’s cheaper to use a bullet, then using other means! First shoot, then think- an old motto..
instead of using electrical fencing, higher security and around the clock personnel with alarms and empty bullet shells for driving away bears. Anyone it seems, can crack the airport perimeter now! Hopefully this will be a lesson for the people there, as it’s the animals land! And they don’t know boundaries and laws!

Saddened to see the cessation of the pretty creature who enjoys his lifestyle away from humans and attains his life cycle comfortably
But once comes into contact with human beings his life becomes vulnerable to a sudden end
