A 31 year old man faces court after allegedly burning his parents to death after they criticised him.

The Krasnoyarsk man faces life sentence if found guilty for dousing his parents with petrol and engine oil before setting them ablaze

The Krasnoyarsk man doused his mother and father with petrol and engine oil before setting them ablaze.

He told police his parents criticised him for not holding down a job.

A row ensued during a drinking session. The unidentified man is charged with murder and intentional destruction of property.

He faces a life sentence if convicted.

The man was found to be mentally fit to face trial.
