The unnamed 33 year old man from Leninsk-Kuznetsky in coal-rich Kemerovo region faces up to five years in jail after attacking his wife with a metal kitchen skimmer, breaking both her arms, after her change in behaviour.
Previously, she had scolded and criticised him for every misdemeanour.
But lately his wife had taken anti-stress medication and he claimed he faced 'a lack of proper reaction' from his spouse to his comments and behaviour.
This led to his attack on her which resulted in the unnamed woman's broken arms.

After this domestic violence, he called an ambulance and she was taken to hospital.

'The woman had been taking stress-reducing pills for several weeks which helped her not to react to what her husband said,' explained a spokesman from the local Interior Ministry.
'She didn't even get angry when he came home drunk.
'The man couldn't bear her being so calm and composed - and he attacked her.
'After he broke her arms, he called an ambulance.'
He was 'deeply frustrated' by her lack of criticisms and rebukes.
If convicted, he faces up to five years in jail.
