WARNING STRONG IMAGES!

The emaciated man from Russia’s remote Republic of Tuva was preserved as ‘tin-can’ food to eat later by a brown bear, say local reports in the region.

A group of local hunters found Alexander after their dogs refused to leave the area of the den.

Their persistent barking pushed the hunters to check inside the lair, where they found a barely-alive man. He was rushed to the local hospital and has been diagnosed with a broken spine and severe emaciation.

Alexander remembers his first name but not his age, and was reportedly in the den for around one month, drinking urine to survive.

He is now in the intenstive care with multiple injuries and rotting skin.

He can move his arms, local hospital doctors said.

A video shows Alexander opening his blue eyes and confirming his first name.

It is as yet unclear if he was a hunter, too, and how his encounter with the bear happened.

He managed to explain that he was attacked and dragged inside the den when he broke his spine.

The attack happened approximately a month ago, Alexander said.

‘The bear preserved me as food for later’, he explained.

A video filmed inside the local hospital shows that the man turned into a ‘speaking mummy’ with his tissues rotting after laying motionless for so long.

Local medics say they cannot explain how the man survived such injuries.

UPDATE

The story on the bear man was reported by major Russian newspaper Izvestia and news agency EADaily.

But a spokesman at the health ministry in Tyva Republic said: 'We cannot confirm the case happened in Tuva.

'It was not registered by the Ministry of Health, the Emergencies Ministry or any other official body (in the region).

'Most probably, it happened somewhere outside Tuva.'

Speech on the background in the video appears not to be local language Tuvan.

My immediate thought is “fake news”. And photoshopped. The guy is there for a month and doesn’t grow whiskers on his cheeks?
As for Americans being skeptics, “Yes, we are.” And Trump is very rough but he is right: much of the world’s news is biased or made up, to get ratings. (Ratings = Money)

Bears aren’t squirrels...they don’t store food. That’s why they get real fat before hibernating.

I feel bad for this guy. Aslo the media which is part of the military industrial complex in the USA has manipulated many in America. Oligarchs who control the banks and own our media has made us believe lies like WMD in Iraq, allowed mossad in isreal to destroy our towers so we could justify our false war on terror. We created al-quaida/ ISIS. Our intelligence and other agencies black male politicians with children. They also are setting up a control grid to track everyone and give you a social credit score so you stay a good slave. Oh and cern is opening the bottomless pit. Rant over. Hoooaaahhh!!!

If a bear is going to kill you,it will happen when they attack unless you are lucky enough to survive it. I don't think bears save food for later.

Ebony, it is no easy task. I worked for 22 years in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, for about 1/4 of that time I ALSO had security tasks for both Saudi Aramco and the Mormon (!) Church. Basically for the Church I was involved in treat assessment and mitigation. i had so many sources (including Russian(!)) and they were all different. I wanted to report truth, BUT, want IS true? It was for me to guess. As for humor, most of the time, if you think about, the jokes, they are really not funny, its the person saying, "BOY! I'm sure glad that didn't happen to me!"" We will ALL suffer in this life. God did not even spare his own son, Jesus!

Peta will probably file a complaint with the UN that Russia is disturbing wildlife in their dens.

A bear takes you into its den and you're there for a month, yet it doesn't feed on you that whole time? I'm not sure I buy this story.
