Mystery death of 22 year old Siberian beauty queen

Police are investigating the sudden death of Viktoria Lygdenova, 22, in Ulan-Ude, in the Republic of Buryatia.

Aged 16, Victoria Lygdenova was the winner of the Beauty of Buryatia title in 2008, and a year later she won third place in the Russian Beauty.

Victoria died just a month after her mother's death. Aged 16, she was the winner of the Beauty of Buryatia title in 2008, and a year later she won third place in the Russian Beauty.

Viktoria was found dead in an apartment she shared with her father and sister. 

She died on Friday, but her demise was not announced until Monday when reports emerged that investigators believed she had been suffering from an unspecified 'illness'.

Blood samples were being examined. 

Viktoria had moved in with her father and sister following the death of her mother, it was reported. Her father had tried to call her on Friday at 11am but there was no answer. Rusing home, he found her dead. 

There was no sign of violence on her body. Reports claimed that on social networks friends said she had suffered from cardiovascular health problems which worsened with stress over her mother's death.
