Footage of a mini tornado captured on a car dash cam in Siberia has gone viral on the Internet. Novosibirsk resident Dmitry Bryukhov was driving along a road in a clear sunny day when the strange funnel appeared beside him.

Uploading the video to his page on the Russian social media site Vkontakte, it has impressed local people although meteorologists have cast doubt on whether it is a read tornado.

According to Anna Lapchik, the head of the Hydrometeorological Centre of Novosibirsk, there needs to be a sudden weather change to form a tornado, including differences in the atmospheric pressure and temperature. This is accompanied by a hurricane wind.

It looks like something evaporating (geezer type) from the ground; maybe the making of another one of those mysterious holes that have been appearing in Siberia? Re; volcano, the weather man/woman is probably 100% right.
