Warplane crashes in Khabarovsk region, two pilots killed

Accident came after plane took off on a training flight.

The Su-24M Flanker supersonic attack jet has crashed killing both pilots, said the Russian Defence Ministry.

'Today at 2:35 pm Moscow time [11:35 GMT] an Su-24M.2 crashed near the Khurba Airfield on takeoff during a training flight,' said a statement. 

'The plane crashed in an uninhabited region. There is no damage on the ground'.
