The 11 killed included the two drivers of the vehicles in the crash, 14 km from Kozulka village, and 112 km from Krasnoyarsk city. Eyewitness Vitaly said that the truck collided with a passenger bus and burned to the ground.
'The picture was terrible. We drove through and saw the bodies hang in the shattered windows, including the driver,' he said. 'Some women were simply torn to pieces right in the cabin. The car caught fire immediately. We started to drag the survivors out of the fire, those who were able to climb out of the windows.'
There were 43 passengers on the intercity bus from Krasnoyarsk to Sharypovo belonging to company Avtokolonna 1967 (Motorcade 1967).
Another bus from the same company was involved in a crash on 9 July in which 11 people were killed. In all 28 survivors suffered injuries, many of them severe.

22 were brought to Achinsk, and eight are in grave condition. Three children (aged 6, 8 and 10) are in a local children's hospital, and described as being in grave conditions.
There were contradictory accounts over which vehicle had crossed into the oncoming lane causing the crash.
'11 people have died, at the moment we have data that 22 people have been injured, but the information is changing,' said regional Interior Ministry spokesman Vladimir Yurchenko earlier.
A plane with medical specialists was dispatched from Krasnoyarsk, and ambulance crews from nearby towns were working at the scene. The Emergencies Ministry opened a telephone hotline for relatives of the passengers involved in the road accident in Kozulsk district.
Krasnoyarsk territory governor Viktor Tolokonsky interrupted his working visit to North Yenisei district and flew to the scene of the accident.
Archeologists discovered a new stone bracelet, two sharp pins, a marble ring and fox tooth pendants.
