Crane driver hits high voltage cable and dies on the spot.

Video footage shows the tragic scene in Krasnoyarsk after the mobile crane's boom hit a power line. 

The driver died immediately, and his vehicle ignited in flames. 

Eyewitness Andrey Gorodnev said: 'It all happened very fast, just in seconds. 

'The vehicle ignited like a torch. The driver died, the rescuers could not approach the site, cause the crane was connected to the electric voltage for an hour or so.'

A woman at the scene, Anastasia Agres, said: 'One man was screaming that we can still save the driver, but the other eyewitnesses stopped him, saying it was dangerous.'

The firefighters could not approach to the burning car during this time, until the cable was disconnected.

Eyewitnesses filmed the tragic scene.
