Girl in coma after being covered in snow by excavator

10 year old Alyona had made a cave in a large pile of snow, and excavator driver did not see her.

Alyona's friend rushed to tell driver Ivan Sharipov that he had covered the girl, and he used a shovel to dig her free, helped by a janitor from a nearby building, but by now she was not breathing.

An ambulance rushed to the scene in Yekaterinburg and found her 'clinically dead'.

As her frantic parents waited near the ambulance, paramedics took 20 minutes make her heart beat.

They then rushed the girl to hospital where she remains in a coma.

Medics, are now deciding whether to move her to another hospital, say there are 'positive dynamics' as they wait for Alyona to co me out of her coma.
