Nurse goes parachuting, and crash lands on her own hospital roof

The nurse from Nadym was jumping with local sports club Vysota when her parachute got tangled and she fell onto the roof of her workplace, the Central District Hospital.

Strong winds blew Zhanna and her friend Elvira off course. Elvira came down on the roof of a local kindergarten. 

Zhanna fractured both her feet and is now being cared for by her work colleagues as a patient. Rather than explain how she defied death in her jump, she emphasised that the medical costs for her treatment would be met by her insurance. 

'My fractures are complicated and soon I will go through surgery,' she said. The club provides insurance for such cases.'
