Horrific car crash severs head and hand of 18 year old female passenger

Lyubov Isaeva, 18, died instantly in the crash near Khabarovsk but miraculously three people, two men and a woman, emerged alive from the wreckage of the car. 

The Toyota was overtaking at speed when it struck a Gazelle mini-truck turning left in front of it at around 5 am on 26 May. The driver lost control, crashed into the curb, and the vehicle rolled over several times hitting a lamp post.

Lyubov Isaeva's head and one hand were severed in the carnage. Rescuers and witnesses pulled another female passenger, who had been with her on the rear seat, out of the wreckage. 

The driver of the Toyota was found to be over the alcohol limit, according to local reports citing the police. He suffered a spinal fracture, while the other male passenger received injuries to his internal organs. His spleen was removed and he lost part of his liver.

Both are in intensive care. The other female, aged 20, has a hip fracture. 

'The car was crushed like cardboard,' said one eyewitness. The group had been partying before the tragedy. The driver of the mini-truck was sober, said police. He received no serious injuries.

Later it was revealed that in a 2013 accident, the uncle, aunt and cousin of Lyubov Isaeva had died in a horrific car crash in the same vicinity. 

On Lyubov's page on social media site Vkontakte are pictures from Joker in Batman, with one caption reading: 'Everyone has a right to be wrong, but I have an unlimited one.'
