Air rage by business class oil executive forces unscheduled Aeroflot landing in Krasnoyarsk

'Drunk and foul-mouthed' passenger 'lunged at female cabin crew and tried to enter cockpit' on seven hour Beijing to Moscow flight.

The alleged air rage passenger was a high profile oil company executive who heads an offshoot of giant Rosneft in the Chinese capital. The senior manager named as 37 year old Andrey K was removed from the flight in the Siberian city, and after checks at the airport, sent to appear in court. 

The disruptive passenger was reported by Russian media to be the head of OOO RN Lubricants LLC, a daughter company of Rosneft in China. He has been working in this company for about two years and was flying to Moscow for a business meeting.

The Russian media did not give his full name.

'Then he tried to go into the cockpit to sort something out with the pilots. At this stage it became clear for the pilots that they had to land somewhere.'

Kseniya Kvyatkovskaya, press secretary of Emeliyanovo airport in Krasnoyarsk said: 'The plane landed at 8.45 am local time. The passenger was taken away by police and customs officers because it was an international flight.

'The passenger was sent to the small clinic in the terminal of the airport for checks. The plane continued its way to Moscow.'

Doctors at the airport confirmed that the man was heavily intoxicated and he was taken by police to court.
