The GoPro kept filming, and as well as the passionate kiss, there are images of passing fish in the murky water as it lay on the sea floor, at Cape Tobizina, on Russky Island, off Vladvostok in the Sea of Japan.
More than a year later the GoPro was found by a diver who gave it to his sup-surfer friend Vladimir, who had also lost a camera. Realising it wasn't his camera, he posted the kiss video hoping to trace the owner.

'I am writing this message, with a smile, imagining what emotions this guy on the video experienced,' he said. 'If anyone knows the man, tell him that a surprise is waiting for him.'
And before long, Vladimir heard from a delighted Denis, 19, and Anna, 18, who now live 9,600 kilometres away in St Petersburg. Vladimir is now preparing to return the camera to Denis, a student.

As Anna posted: 'Who would have thought that one of our first kisses will be known throughout all Primorsky region?'

'I will never forget that day now, for sure...' She recalled it was 1 August 2015.
As for Vladimir, he is hoping his camera will be found, too, one day.
Archeologists discovered a new stone bracelet, two sharp pins, a marble ring and fox tooth pendants.
