The headless body of Artyom Shustov was found in a park in Komsomolsk-on-Amur in the Russian Far East. Later Matsneva's boyfriend, 16 year old Nikita Rasskazov, a teenage kickboxer, confessed to the killing and was detained, said law enforcement sources.

Police subsequently recovered Shustov's head from the Silinka River. Now more details have emerged, with witnesses revealing a furious row over the girl at the park minutes before the beheading.

It is believed that Olena had spent time with Shustov at a party, said a report in local newspaper DVnovosti, citing police and other sources.

She had posted a picture of them together on her social media, and also a picture of his tattooed chest.

Shustov claimed that Olena 'stared pestering him at the party, and he was drunk and could not resist'. Rasskazov then pulled out a knife and stabbed his rival.

Shustov ran away but the 16 year old followed him, stabbing him in the back, it was reported. The pair fell on the ground and began to fight, with the younger teenager inflecting more knife wounds.

With Shustov badly wounded but evidently still alive, Rasskazov 'started to cut off his head with the knife'. He 'took the severed head by the hair, put it in a garbage bag, and then into a backpack. 'He dragged the body to another part of the park and put Artyom's student papers on his chest.'

Then he went home, hid his bloodstained clothes in his wardrobe, took a shower and went to bed, it was reported.

'The next day Nikita went to Olena and told her about the murder and showed her the severed head.' He wanted to bring the head to his beloved Olena to prove his love in this way, it was reported. Her reaction is not recorded.

'Then he put some stones in the backpack with the head and threw it to the River Silinka.'

Olena

It was reported that eyewitnesses at the party said that Olena had taken the initiative with Shustov, yet had later told Rasskazov that it was him who had 'harassed her'. Picture: The Siberian Times

An acquaintance said: 'Nikita was spending a lot of time in on-line groups devoted to maniacs and often carried a knife with him.'

It was reported that eyewitnesses at the party said that Olena had taken the initiative with Shustov, yet had later told Rasskazov that it was him who had 'harassed her'.

Rasskazov is being investigated for murder, but despite his confession there has been no announcement that he has been charged as yet.

I wonder why Olena is seemingly not being criminally charged. She was the responsible for ignite the flame that led her boyfriend to kill the innocent guy. They've had consensual sex. She lied about rape and now an innocent boy is dead. She deserves to go to prison, at least, because, whereas I believe her boyfriend, the actual murder, is mentally ill, though he is chargeable for what he did, she was the brain behind this atrocity. She is a psycopath. She deserves be free no longer, nevermore.

How sick, mentally sick a only 16 years old boy has to be to actually decapitate his ' rival ' out of jealousy, I wonder were drugs involved or is he simply an animal, no worse less than an animal.
Does Russia still use death-penalty?
