Young Ulyana was so excited by her coming vacation in Thailand that she forgot to pick up her new teddy bear when it came to boarding the plane at Koltsovo airport in Yekaterinburg.
Yelena's mother immediately emailed the airport asking to please take care of the precious toy - and return him to the tearful girl when she gets back to her home city in the New Year.
Pictures show the bear being treated in the lap of luxury by airport staff, and evidently having a whole lot of fun.

'Our young passenger left for her tropical holiday, and her little teddy bear was late to catch the plane. He stayed at the airport,' said an airport source.
'Ulyana's mother emailed us, asking to find the bear and look after him.'
The airport's kind-hearted staff wrote back to girl: 'Don't worry Ulyana, your teddy bear is doing great! While you swim and sunbathe, he's living with us.
'Have a look at some pictures we took of him.'
