'A girl born in 1995 hanged herself on November 5, a boy born in 1998 on November 17, and a girl born in 1997 - on November 23', said a spokesman for the local department of the Investigative Committee.
Local media claimed the tragic deaths could have come after the teenagers played an online game.
'The investigation checked this theory among others because it appeared in the media. There is nothing to substantiate it,' said a spokesman.
While this theory was clearly aired in the media, the Investigative Committee cautioned that such a theory could worsen the situation.
'Youngsters, especially those who find themselves in a difficult situation and read such reports, may also settle scores with life,' he said, according to Interfax.
Psychologists are now working in Pervomaisk as investigators seek an explanation for the suicides.
It is unclear if the teenagers left any notes before they killed themselves, nor was any link between the incidents reported.
Archeologists discovered a new stone bracelet, two sharp pins, a marble ring and fox tooth pendants.
