Residents of Nizhny Tagil can visit sunny Thailand without leaving Siberia

‘In the Land of the Emerald Buddha’ expo will show people, culture and nature of the kingdom.

‘In the Land of the Emerald Buddha’ is a transcontinental art and educational project; its exhibitions will be held in large cities of the Urals, Siberia and the Far East of Russia

More than a hundred artworks dedicated to the Kingdom of Siam will be on display in the Nizhny Tagil Museum of Fine Arts from 18 June till early August. 

The biennale will then travel across the Urals, Siberia, the Far East of Russia and, finally, Moscow. 

‘In the Land of the Emerald Buddha’ is a transcontinental art and educational project; its exhibitions will be held in large cities of the Urals, Siberia and the Far East of Russia. 

'More than a hundred artworks dedicated to the culture and nature of Thailand were created by prominent Russian artists’, said the Museum of Fine Arts. 

The exhibition was organised to celebrate 125 years since Russian and Thailand established diplomatic relations.
