Rising number of Russians fly to Thailand for health and wellness tourism

Hospitals, beauty therapies, and anti-ageing clinics in demand from tourists.

The rising number of Russian tourists was revealed at the Amazing Thailand Health & Wellness Trade Meet 2019” organised by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in Bangkok this week.

Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor, said: ‘This is the fourth time this niche-market trade show is being held as part of our strategy to promote Thailand as a world-class destination for health and wellness tourism.’

Russians were identified as a growing market, along with visitors from Australia and Myanmar.
