Police caught a 28 year old who pulled out a syringe to 'infect' locals with killer disease.

The man was trapped after and 18 year old student reported an incident at a bus stop in Irkutsk, complaining about the robber demanding to hand over all money and valuables. The student refused 'and the attacker took out a syringe and began threatening him, saying he would infect him with AIDS'.
The robber then tore a gold chain from the student's neck and ran off.
'Offcicers started chasing the attacker and he was soon located and arrested,' said a statement from police.
'He is a local man, 28, already jailed for robbery in the past.'
If convicted he faces up to seven years in prison. Police suspect 'a series of similar crimes' and have asked for assistance from local residents.
