Plan to offer Russian tourists up to 270 days in Thailand.

After being tested clear of Covid-19, you can stay 90 days in Thailand; two potential extensions each of 90 days are also available

If approved the scheme means Russian visitors will have to undergo two weeks strict quarantine in an approved hotel on arrival.

The new type of visa will not have an age limit of 50 years and up like the existing retirement visa, said the Bangkok Post. 

Special charter flights with social distancing are likely.
