Siberian grandmother hailed the Queen of Flex for reading rap in freezing waters of Lake Baikal

A video with Galina dressed in just a bikini as she drifts in a blue Porsche Cayenne and jumps into the icy lake was filmed in the deep cold at minus 30C.

But she has warmed the hearts of admirers.

‘We did the filming in the Listvyanka village in February when it was really cold’, said Galina.

‘But since I am in a winter swimmers’ club I am not afraid of cold water.’

She boasted: ‘I am ready for everything for the sake of art!’

A former hotel worker and happy grandmother-of-two, Galina posted the video on her Instagram account and received an overwhelmingly positive response.

‘You’ve really cheered me up Galina! Haven’t seen anything like this for a long while, I admire brave people like you’, said Rinat Shagimardanov.

‘You rock!! This video confirms age is really just a number!’, said another follower.

The video was produced by an art group from Irkutsk called ‘Goryachiye Golovy’, which translates as Hot Heads.

Galina said she didn’t think twice when she was invited to star in the project even though she had never read rap.

'I'm up to date with trends, that's why they invited me. I like Timati and MC Doni (popular Russian rap singers).

‘I hope that the Black Star, the leading rap and hiphop label in Russia will sign a contract with me after seeing this video!’, she said.

The video describes Galina’s life of a regular pensioner who knows about troubles about busy everyday life.

The clip is titled 'Big Baby Tape - GIMME THE LOOT (Siberian parody) and ends with Galina reading:

’At our minus 30 we're hanging out like we are in Europe,

'While you're sitting on your ass in the office.’

So far her most devoted fans are granddaughters Evelina, 6, and Alicia, 3, who want to sing rap with Galina.
