Anonymous lucky winner comes from the Siberian Federal District.

The biggest win in the history of the Russian Lottery. Picture:

The mammoth win came after the buyer spent 812 roubles  ($23.25) to play 'GosLoto 6 out of 45'. There is no information on the name or age of the winner nor where he bought the ticket.

The previous record was 100,118,000 roubles in 2009 by a winner in St Petersburg. The new winner will need to travel from Siberia to Msocow to claim the prize. 'GosLoto' gives security tips for winners on its website, suggesting to keep their details secret and choose a bank that is used to working with large sums.

Winners are advised not to spend their new riches in one go, to put at least half into savings, and not to change their lifestyle too dramatically.
