A local stray with German Shepherd blood took over the task of caring for the kittens, revealed local animal rescuer Svetlana Udalyeva. 'She took care of the kittens for three weeks, warmed them, kept them together, and growled at strangers, who come close to her 'children',' she said. 'The girls told how she tried not to eat the food they brought for the kittens.' They named her Mayka.
The schoolgirls managed to find homes for four of the kittens, said Svetlana who went to the scene to make sure all the animals were safe. 'I learned about this story and went to take the kittens to temporary housing, and find them owners,' she said.
'The dog 'mother' turned out very nice, very young and sociable, with an almost 'smiling' look. She has perfect character, very friendly, cheerful. It seemed that she understood everything at a glance.'

Svetlana realised that she had to help the dog after her foster mothering assignment was over. 'When I saw this nice 'smiling' dog, I realised that we must help her,' he said.
'The girls had named her 'Mayka', but there is a tradition among animal defends which is that in a new life, they get a new name. She was very friendly and looked like she was 'smiling', as if she was rejoicing. So I called her 'Rada' (from the Russian word 'radovatsa' meaning 'feel joy').

'As the story spread in social media, I got numerous calls, my cell-phone got really hot. We have now about 15 proposals from possible owners. As soon as Rada receives proper medical treatment she will move to new home, I hope.'
Archeologists discovered a new stone bracelet, two sharp pins, a marble ring and fox tooth pendants.
