Students hospitalised with infectious pneumonia

Ten students from the school have been hospitalised, with the school closed to stop the infection spreading. The lives of the pupils in not in danger, said health protection watchdog Rospotrebnadzor. 

The school in Yermakovskoye, around 515km south of regional capital Krasnoyarsk,  has been closed until 4 December.

No new cases have been reported, said a report by RIA Novosti.

The ages of the students struck down with infectious pneumonia was not given.
