Thailand is planning long-term residency status for wealthy foreigners including Russians

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha is in talks about a groundbreaking scheme.
The aim is to attract new investment into the kingdom post-pandemic.
Details will come later but could give ease-of-access to wealthy Russians with current visa and residency rules waived.
Before the pandemic, Russians found Thailand a popular destination for long term as well as short term visits.
