His Nissan AD jettisoned three metres into the air crashing into a second floor balcony before falling on the head of a father on a quiet Sunday morning walk with his young family. The father, pushing his seven month old baby girl in a pushchair, died instantly.
The baby is miraculously alive but with serious injuries, say police. His five year old daughter suffered acute head injuries and is in intensive care in a Krasnoyarsk hospital. The children's mother suffered light injuries but said said to be in a state of utter shock and devastation by the crash which in a split second has shattered her family.

'The father who was pushing the pram died instantly. By a miracle the baby girl survived but sustained very heavy injuries.
'The five year old daughter was rushed to hospital with a badly wounded head, along with her mother who was the luckiest of all in that she was injured only lightly. But she is now in a state of utter shock.'
On Sunday night the mother - who was not named by police - is by the bedside of her five year old daughter at Kransoyarsk city hospital number 20.
Her baby is being cared for in intensive care. The carnage from the crash stunned police and onlookers. It was at 26 Lenin Street in the heart of the city.
'The speed of the driver in the city centre was so high that after the crash parts of the car were found dozens of metres away from the scene', said Alexander Stpanov. Local journalists pictured the smashed pushchair with its wheels ripped off.

'The driver survived thanks to his airbag in the car,' said the policeman. 'He has also suffered head injured and is now treated in one of the city hospitals'.
News agency krsk.novosti.ru reported: 'Eye-witnesses say the driver was drunk. When the experts came they recorded that the broken speedometer's arrow had stopped at the 140 kph mark.'
Police are expected to open a criminal investigation.
