At a recent opening of a dealership in Irkutsk, the head of Porsche in Russia Thomas Shtertsel said: 'We are planning to sell about 20 cars before the end of the year in Irkutsk . I think that next year this number will significantly increase.'

Quoted by Continent Siberia website - - he said: 'Talking of Siberia, we have very good and reliable partners.'

The company has opened a base in Tyumen and in Novosibirsk 'our market share is very high in the city. We have a great partner, and we are very satisfied'.

'Kemerovo is also in our plans but we are not in a hurry,' he added.

'This is also a very important region, but for Porsche the most important thing is finding a reliable partner and to establish a good relationship, to settle down there, and not just stick a flag and say that we came here.

'Such a policy, with the stable service and client network, is one of the lessons that we have learned from the crisis. Perhaps, in the nearest future our plans may be adjusted, but speaking about Kuzbass,  a Porsche dealer is planned for 2015-2016.'

He stressed: 'We are satisfied with the development of business in Siberia, and we want to continue to develop the dealer network.'

For Siberians, the Cayenne 'is in great demand in the region. But, of course, Cayenne has dominant, but not a monopoly position. Our sports cars, in particular, the Panamera are in demand along with it.'
