A new direct international flight will start on April 1 between Irkutsk and the key Chinese trading city of Guangzhou.
The weekly service on Sundays will be flown by Ural Airlines. The airline says the lowest return fare on the route will be 299 euro.
Irkutsk aiport showed an increase in the number of passengers to 100,000 in March 2012
Ural Airlines say the new service will be launched to coincide with the Conton Fair, the world' third largest trade fair.
Irkutsk Airport boasts direct flights to at least 14 foreign countries.
